 Welcome to the home of LYSA (Longwood Youth Sports Association), where you will be able to obtain more information about the entire organization, as well as the individual sports. LYSA was originally formed back in 1962, as the Middle Island Youth Athletic Association and then later evolved into the current LYSA organization it is known as today. The organization was formed to ensure the youth of Longwood would have organized sports available to them throughout the area. Today's leagues have grown to over 3,000 families across 10 sports under the LYSA umbrella and is recognized as the largest youth sport organization in Suffolk County and one of the largest on all of Long Island.
